office barcelona2015, aachen

a solution was sought in this project where a single structure geometry could accommodate the site requirements, providing sufficient workspace while maximizing the flexibility for different tenant areas.

four rectangular space units were interconnected by three cores, eliminating the need for middle columns in each unit. this allows tenants the option to rent a single unit or the entire floor. varying the length of the units and offsetting the last one responds to the triangle form of the site and creates two public squares.
the rectangular geometry and structure of the units naturally imparts distinct characters to the facade.

the volume with the terraces contributes an introverted gesture to the entire project, creating a harmonious and inward-looking atmosphere. the ground floor, featuring work/study spaces, a kindergarten and a courtyard, serves as the collective focal point of the community.
bus stop aachen2016, aachen

a bus stop was to be planned for a crossing on a gentle slope. the design introduced a triangular geometry, allocating space for a bicycle path on one side while dedicating the other two sides to serve as bus stops. the triangle also creates a small garden at the center, with the roofs sloping towards this green space.

the triangular concept extends to the seating arrangement, introducing interactive seating spaces on both sides.
